As the core of "business creation" that integrates the technology and knowledge we have cultivated, we will discover new technologies, add value to our core businesses, and promote the creation of new value through innovation.

Under our mission statement, "We will bring excitement to life through the power of connecting people and technology," we view "technology" as "an element that bridges the gap between the value we create for society and people" and "an element that brings together and enhances various values within our company. While utilizing the knowledge and technologies we have cultivated in our core businesses such as FA, chillers, devices, and plant factories, we co-create advanced technologies such as generation AI, photosynthesis engineering, and OT security together with external organizations and affiliated companies to make our solutions "active value that can be used in the field. We will constantly update our solutions to make them "live value that can be used in the field.
As a business creation company, we hope you will continue to look forward to the "exciting shape" that we will create by also making full use of technology.

Technology Development Strategy

As the driving force behind the "Innovation Strategy" in the medium-term plan "ONE RYODEN Growth 2029-2034," the Strategic Technology Center will promote technological development based on the following three strategies, aiming to create new businesses that deliver both social and economic value.

Deepening and expanding existing businesses and contributing to business creation

Consolidate the technologies of each business unit and promote horizontal deployment across the entire company. We will establish a highly profitable recurring business by building an integrated infrastructure with data utilization at its core. In addition, we will develop a unique system design system that extends into the SIer domain, and transform our core business into a highly profitable structure.

Explore new business areas and create business models

We will lead the design and demonstration of new business models to solve social issues by materializing solutions for Smart X, such as "whole factory monitoring.

Business Implementation of Advanced Technology and Intellectual Property Strategy

We will aim to make our services heterogeneous by expanding investment and collaboration with leading external organizations and rapidly implementing advanced technologies such as generative AI in our business. We will enhance RYODEN's presence by strengthening intellectual property/standardization strategies and technology publicity.

Innovation Environment and Communities

Partnering with the "Information Security Industry-Academia Joint Research Center" at University of Nagasaki to establish security measures tailored to on-site issues. We promote the development of technologies to protect industrial infrastructure from cyberattacks.

Developed and launched "CataReru™," a generative AI system for manual comprehension

Innovation

Developed a new system to support DX at manufacturing and maintenance sites in collaboration with the Niigata Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and the Graduate School of Project Design. The AI instantly reads and answers questions from vast amounts of manuals.
