Under our Purpose, "Giving shape to 'Waku-Waku (Excitement)' by connecting people and technology," we view "technology" as "a means of bridging the value we create to society and people" and "a means of bringing together and enhancing the various values within our company." We are committed to applying technologies to address social challenges. While utilizing the knowledge and technologies we have cultivated in our core businesses such as FA, cooling & heating, devices, and plant factories, we co-create advanced technologies such as generative AI, photosynthesis engineering, and OT security together with external organizations and affiliated companies. We will continue updating our solutions so that they become "practical, real-world value that can be applied."

Technology Development Strategy

As the driving force for the "Innovation Strategy" in the medium-term management plan "ONE RYODEN Growth 2029-2034," the Strategic Technology Center will promote technology development centered on the following three strategies, aiming to create new businesses that deliver both social and economic value.

Deepening and expanding existing businesses and contributing to business creation

We will consolidate the technologies of each business unit and promote their company-wide deployment. We will establish a highly profitable recurring business by building an integrated infrastructure with data utilization at its core. Further, we will develop a unique system design framework that extends into the systems integration (SI) domain and transform our core business into a highly profitable structure.

Exploring new business areas and creating business models

We will develop Smart X solutions, such as factory-wide monitoring, and lead the design and validation of new business models aimed at addressing social challenges.

Business application of advanced technologies and intellectual property strategy

We will differentiate our services by expanding investment in and collaboration with leading external organizations and rapidly implementing advanced technologies, such as generative AI, in our business. We will enhance RYODEN's presence by strengthening our intellectual property and standardization strategies, as well as our technology communications.

RYODEN Corporation has signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at the commercialization and market expansion of "Physical AI." In addition, the two companies have launched a groundbreaking joint development project for next-generation Physical AI control solutions for industrial equipment, marking a significant collaboration between Japanese and Chinese enterprises.
