As a "specialist in all aspects of facilities" with expertise in all areas of heating, cooling, and building equipment, we aim to continue to be the company of choice for our customers and society. To achieve this goal, we will contribute to a sustainable, decarbonized society by deepening our core business and innovating our energy business.
In the chillers field, we will both expand the scale of our business and improve productivity while strengthening our agency business, which is our core business. In addition, in response to the progress of decarbonization and the growing need for heat stroke countermeasures, we will promote the sophistication of our solutions business by integrating our engineering and sales capabilities, including the provision of waste heat recovery and unused heat utilization systems and recycled refrigerants, and the promotion of off-site construction methods to respond to the shortage of labor.

In the building segment, we will accelerate the establishment of a new earnings base in addition to the existing elevator and escalator business, while responding to changes in the business environment, such as soaring material prices and labor shortages. In addition to proposing ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) solutions that leverage the strengths of the Mitsubishi Electric Group and expanding our solar power generation and storage battery businesses, we will strengthen our efforts in new business models, such as the operation of energy storage facilities through participation in special purpose companies (SPCs).
Through these efforts, we will transform our sales and business style beyond conventional frameworks and achieve sustainable growth and increase corporate value as a partner that provides total support for our customers' entire facility environment.

Growth Strategy for the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems Business

Growth strategies for existing businesses

We will aim for transformation in our core businesses as well, centered on the optimization project for chiller sales and operations, which is one of the pillars of our supply chain strategy. In the chiller market, many challenges exist, such as energy-saving and decarbonization initiatives and mandatory heat stroke countermeasures. We will continue to strengthen our distinctive chiller engineering business and projects dedicated to heat-related measures, and combine them with the strengths we have cultivated in our core businesses to help our customers solve their problems. In the building business, we will work to maintain and stabilize our core business by expanding sales of H-elevators, transport equipment, and elevators manufactured by other companies based on the Mitsubishi elevator and escalator sales platform.

Growth strategies for innovation (new) areas

Through new initiatives (innovation strategy), we will aim to grow our chiller/heating building systems business by providing value to our customers and solving their problems. We will continue to expand the range of products we handle by finding new partners, continue and develop activities to propose energy reduction proposals through the use of well water air conditioners, waste heat recovery, and unused heat, while also working on off-site construction methods to respond to the shortage of labor, and developing solutions to issues in the EMS and BMS areas by opening up air conditioning systems, regardless of manufacturer, made possible through the agency agreement with CoolAutomationJAPAN. We will also strengthen our ability to propose solutions in new areas, such as the resolution of issues in the EMS and BMS fields by opening up air conditioning systems, the handling of recycled refrigerants to enable customers to continue their business activities, environmental management and global environmental conservation, and contribution to a decarbonized society by promoting net-zero business. We believe that our efforts in new areas (innovation) will contribute to the growth of our existing businesses, and we will aim for growth and business expansion in both areas.

Innovation

Providing solutions that integrate different communication specifications across manufacturers, enabling centralized management of air conditioning equipment. By achieving optimal control of air conditioning, which accounts for a large portion of building energy consumption, we support initiatives toward carbon neutrality.
