Under a revision of Japan’s Radio Act (ministerial ordinance), mirror sub-carrier-type and medium-output handy reader/writers (250mW) can be distributed at high density over a limited area. With the arrival of such devices, UHF-band RFID usage is spreading widely, for use in mobile bodies and other applications.

This printer with built-in RFID functionality supports printing of on-metal label tags. It can print visual information and write data to IC for rapid tag issuance.
